One of the great features of being African decent is our hair texture. It makes us unique to different races. But what if, this unique feature can be duplicated and not make African-Americans unique anymore? While on a popular social site, I ran across a video blog of a women who appears to be White American show her followers how she can make her fine hair (type 1A) appear to be Afro centric. Don’t believe me?
Here is the link to the video.
In the video, the lady simply twisted her hair around a piece of aluminum foil, and applied her flat iron to the hair. After she completed the whole process to her entire head she untwists her hair and her hair appears to have the “kinky coily look”. Of course this look is inspired by the wonderful ladies whose hair is naturally kinky and coily but I must say I have reached my limits where the African-American image is duplicated by other races.
